You can finish your high school diploma or prepare for your equivalency exam (GED) at any of our three adult schools. Online study options are available too!

All three adult schools work closely with Ohlone College advisors to help students successfully transition to the community college.

We offer ESL courses from Beginning to Advanced levels, in-person and online.

All three adult schools offer citizenship classes to help you prepare for your exam.

We offer a variety of job skills classes between our four schools and in collaboration with our partners.

All four schools partner with the Ohlone College Career Center to help students in all aspects of career transition readiness, job search skills, job placement, and job retention. They also provide funding assistance for students who qualify.

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA & EQUIVALENCY

We offer free class for adults to complete their high school diploma or to prepare to pass the GED.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

These free classes help adults improve their English language skills for the workplace, to prepare for college, or for everyday life. Instruction includes reading, writing, listening, speaking/pronunciation, and grammar.  Students may use ESL instruction to gain life and employment skills, progress to career or academic programs, and become actively engaged in their communities. Class times vary.

CAREER EDUCATION

Career Education programs help prepare adults to earn industry certifications and lay foundations for a specific career pathway that can help you improve your current job skills and learn new skills that can help you in the workplace.  While most of SACC’s Career Education classes are offered through Ohlone Community College, our Adult Education Programs provide some training programs and partner with other community organizations to bring help provide more training opportunities to our students.
